My Girlfriend is Travelling

Well hello, my dear readers :)
It has been such a long time since the last update. These days i felt too tired and i didn't have any will neither inspiration to write about anything. I am a kind of a person, who just hates being busy. Really, I woud be happy by just doing nothing all day.
Anyways, enough of my complaining. Today I want to write about one korean book that I really liked.
I can declare that I like reading books. If there is a book I find interesting I would not put it down until I can finish it. That is why I go to bookstores quite often. The problem is that it is not that easy to find a book that would suit me among thousands of book covers in the store. But recently I found a book that I just fell in love with. I brought it with me everywhere, I used my every spare minute to read at least a few lines. When finally the story ended I had a bit of a regret, because you can only read a book for the first time once.

Are you wondering about the title by now? It is called "My Girlfriend is Travelling" (내 여자친구는 여행중) by Yi Mi Na (이미나). Judging by the title only you could think it is a romance story. I admit there are parts about romance too, but more than that it is a book about traveling. While reading I had a feeling that right now I want to just leave everything here and go to the airport, to meet a new, totally different world. In the book there are many vivid descriptions of beautiful places. Also in the book the main heroine is a person, who can find happiness even in the smallest things. For example one time she woke up early in the morning, lifted up curtains and saw a really wonderful rainbow. She was so amazed, and being afraid that it can disappear any moment, she constantly watched it, taking photos, skipping even breakfast because of it. Also there are many colorful illustrations inside^^ Bulgaria, full of fragrant roses, Finland, where you can easily meet Santa Claus and Moomintrolles, romantic Venice with passionate Gypsies... After reading this book I realised that the world is so wide, beyond our imagination.
I read this book in Korean, and I am not sure if English translation exists, since the book was published recently. I strongly recommend to read it to any Korean-speaker :)
P.S These days I don't have any new ideas what should I write about. Please, be so kind to leave me any suggestions ^^;;
