Fighting Hunger Together
This post brought to you by The Walmart Foundation. All opinions are 100% mine.

Not many people are aware that there are already over 50 million Americans who are not sure where to get their next meal. Unemployment has increased dramatically in recent years and this has caused more and more families to experience hunger. With no stable source of income, families in several communities do not know how they can provide for their needs. Walmart has created an initiative that can help alleviate hunger in communities.
From April 9 through April 30, Walmart is launching a Fighting Hunger Together campaign with Feeding America and four of the most recognizable food brands in America – General Mills, Kraft, ConAgra and Kellogg’s- to help fight hunger especially during spring when food contributions become scarce. Consumers can join this initiative through in-store participation or through Facebook. On April 9 to April 30, consumers can Vote to fight spring hunger with Walmart through Facebook and support the communities that are in need of hunger relief.
The over 200 communities listed are those that have the highest unemployment rate. The top 21 communities that will get the most support will receive a total of $2 million donation from Walmart. The 20 runners-up communities will be given $50,000 each. Consumers who are also active users of the popular social networking website can also help spread the word to create awareness about the initiative.
Customers can also participate in the Fighting Hunger Together campaign by going in-store from April 9 through April 30. By purchasing select products from General Mills, Kraft, ConAgra and Kellogg’s, they can help donate meals to communities that need them most.

Review | Slap Wrap Coolers
The SlapKooler™ band is a banded 'slap koozie' beverage insulator that you can 'slap' on your can, bottle, arm, leg, friends, or people you just meet.
I like using it for my coffee cup. It has this durable no-slip grip that keeps my beverage in place and warm my hand.
The slap wrap will fit any normal sized can or bottle, and will retain it's shape around the object it is placed on. Two metal recoiling strips run lengthwise layered inside the 1/4" foam insulation. Slap Koozies are also a great giveaway for promoting a band or marketing your business.
Get yours today and customize it!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
